Plant-based Resin Work
What we love the most is that every single piece we make is one of a kind. We specialize in plant-based resin and woodwork where we draw out natures beauty using plant-based resin and reclaimed wood.
Your piece might also be lucky enough to have leaves, wildflowers, fern cones, gold leaf, or silver leaf. These pieces are created through a 4-5 day process that includes the resin treatment, the shaping, polishing, and finishing.
The shaping process of the pieces is often an adventure. We may have an idea of the shape we want to create, but often times, the piece itself dictates how it wants to look.
Stone Treasures
We are so incredibly fortunate to live on a planet that has the ability to create incredible and beautiful things. Minerals and gemstones being one of them. Not only are they absolutely gorgeous, but they are also powerful. Our planet is made up of energy. Energy flows all around us. It comes from the sun, electricity, and our earth. Energy has the power to make things happen, including running a car, giving us daylight, helping plants grow, and even impacting our moods. Energy is found in every single element on earth including gemstones and minerals. We believe in the metaphysical properties of these stones and therefore we hand-pick every single stone we create into a functional wearable piece of jewelry.
Oaxacan Inspiration
There is a rich tradition in Southern Mexico, in particular, Oaxaca where highly skilled artisans create beautiful decorations. These decorations reflect traditional Mexican culture and dia de los muertos. These beautiful and vibrant pieces can be made using tin sheets (Hoja de Lata), wood and ceramics. We have adopted these techniques in our work and have learned from the best artisans in Mexico. We create traditional pieces as well as alternative pieces that still reflect the rich southern Mexican culture.
